Libraries Tasmania

Libraries Tasmania connects Tasmanians to knowledge, ideas and community through their statewide library and archive service. They provide lending, research, information, literacy and learning services and preserve the documentary heritage of Tasmania for present and future generations. They serve as the continuing memory of Tasmania’s government and people.

They can help you with your digital device (laptop, iPad, phone) and provide support for to you access online services, such as: the Australian Government’s My Health Record; the Australian Government’s Be Connected resources (free training resources through webinars and grant programs); and the Australian Bureau of Statistics for Census 2021. They also support individuals with online Consumer, Building and Occupational Licensing requirements.

Libraries Tasmania offers online and digital services through www.libraries.tas.gov.au as well as programs and services delivered across the state through their many locations.
