Module 3

Digital networking and turbo charged sales funnels

Key Points:

  • LinkedIn has 660 million registered users and is the channel for you if your customers are professionals or corporate, or you are a thought leader, consultant, or service provider.
  • Content is based around value-adding and showing off your skills, knowledge, and networks to the world, making contacts, and leveraging them for consulting and job opportunities.
  • LinkedIn is way more than a digital business card and can be a rich seam of connections and awareness raising for your business.
  • Engagement is the key to growth, comments, questions, and of course your own posts. Video is making its mark here too. Again, use this platform to educate and connect, then migrate folks to your website.
  • Pinterest, is an unsung social media hero - it has the best direct conversion rate, is an awesome list builder, and the only social media channel where your audience is there to plan future purchases.
  • Aspirational purchases live here, good for luxury brands, find your niche followers and serve them all the images as the more they pin, the more you win.
  • Pinterest is also great for wellness brands, food, crafts, architecture, and interiors. Literally, people are saving your products, services and sharing them.
  • It works really well for syndicating blog posts and pushing affiliate products, and now also has a capacity for business advertising.
  • Optimise your images for selling from Pinterest and crafting your boards. Don't forget to collect emails as you go.
